  • Width and Length Verification: Measure the width and length of the foil to ensure it meets the specified dimensions. This can be done using precision measuring tools and automated measuring systems.

Surface Quality Inspection

  • Visual Inspection: Inspect the surface for any visible defects such as scratches, dents, or impurities. This is often done using magnification tools or high-resolution cameras.
  • Surface Roughness: Measure surface roughness using profilometers to ensure a smooth surface, which is crucial for applications requiring high precision and performance.

Chemical Composition Analysis

  • Spectroscopic Analysis: Perform spectroscopic techniques like XRF or ICP-MS to verify the chemical composition, ensuring the presence of necessary elements and the absence of unwanted impurities.
  • Grain Structure Examination: Use metallographic microscopes to examine the grain structure of the tungsten foil. Proper grain size and structure are crucial for material performance.

Mechanical Properties Testing

  • Tensile Strength: Conduct tensile tests to determine the foil's strength and elongation properties. This helps ensure the material can withstand the required mechanical stresses.
  • Hardness Testing: Use hardness testers (e.g., Vickers or Rockwell) to measure the material's hardness, ensuring it meets the specified requirements.
  • Magnetic Permeability Testing : Conduct permeability tests ,detect strip magnetic conductivity and measure the distribution of strip tensile stress to ensure that our strips meet the requirements of weak or non-magnetic properties requirements in our customers’ field of application.

Other Testing customized

  • Corrosion Resistance Tests: Subject the strip or foil to various corrosive environments to test its resistance. This is depended for applications where the material will be exposed to harsh conditions.
  • Electrochemical Tests: Conduct electrochemical tests to measure the corrosion rates and behavior of the strips or foil in specific environments.
